What Our Pest Control Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
South Carolina Pest Pros provides the pest control services described in your estimate, service plan, or other written agreement. The work may include inspection, treatment, monitoring, or recommendations for the pest and areas identified in that document.
Services not listed, including repairs, cleanup, wildlife work, or treatment of additional pests or structures, require a separate agreement. We will explain any proposed change before doing extra work.
We apply pesticides in accordance with their registered product labels, as required by federal law, including FIFRA and pesticide labeling rules in 40 CFR Part 156. Work is also subject to South Carolina Code Title 46, Chapter 13, applicable structural pest control licensing requirements, and South Carolina Regulation 27-1085 on applicator certification.
Pesticide handling and disposal must follow applicable requirements, including RCRA where relevant. South Carolina Department of Agriculture oversight and Clemson University Department of Pesticide Regulation resources may inform applicable practices. These terms do not replace product labels or applicable law.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another confirmed method. A scheduled time may be an arrival window rather than an exact arrival time.
Please provide access to the agreed treatment areas and tell us about relevant changes, such as new pest activity, renovations, pets, or access restrictions. Follow any preparation or re-entry instructions we provide for the specific service.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or move a visit. Any cancellation deadline or fee applies only if it was disclosed in your estimate, service plan, or other written agreement.
If our technician cannot safely or reasonably complete the agreed work because access is unavailable or conditions have changed, we may ask to reschedule. We will explain proposed changes to the service scope and obtain your approval before performing added work.
A request to change an appointment or treatment does not itself authorize a different service or additional charge.
How Estimates and Charges Are Handled
An estimate describes the work and price proposed based on the information available at the time. It may depend on inspection findings, the areas involved, and the treatment requested. Review the estimate and ask questions before approving it; work begins once you accept the stated scope, subject to any written service plan. An estimate is not approval for unlisted work.
Payment timing and accepted payment arrangements will be stated in the estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Please pay according to those written terms.
If inspection or site conditions suggest that added work may be needed, we will describe the change and any price adjustment and seek your approval before proceeding. You may decline the proposed change; the original work may still be completed if it remains suitable and safe, or we may discuss other options.
No price, financing offer, or recurring charge applies unless it is disclosed in writing and accepted by you.
Written Terms Govern Any Service Coverage
South Carolina Pest Pros stands behind the work it agrees to perform, but these terms do not create a general warranty, a promised duration, or a guarantee that pests will never return. Any service warranty, retreatment commitment, or other coverage applies only when its scope, duration, conditions, and exclusions are stated in writing in your estimate or service agreement. The written terms for your particular service control.
Coverage may depend on following preparation, sanitation, access, and follow-up instructions, and on the service remaining within the agreed scope. New pest activity, untreated areas, structural changes, moisture or food sources, or conditions outside our control may require a separate inspection or service.
Contact us promptly if you believe completed work did not match the written agreement. We will review the concern against the service record and any applicable written coverage. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent permitted by law, South Carolina Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or results affected by circumstances beyond the agreed work. This does not exclude responsibility where the law does not allow that exclusion or limit.
We apply pesticides according to registered product labels and applicable requirements, including FIFRA, 40 CFR Part 156, South Carolina Code Title 46, Chapter 13, South Carolina Regulation 27-1085, and relevant structural pest control licensing rules. These terms do not excuse failure to comply with those requirements.
Pesticide waste must be handled and disposed of as applicable law requires, including RCRA when relevant. Please follow service-specific safety directions and tell us about conditions that could affect treatment. Nothing here limits liability for matters that cannot legally be limited.

Daniel Harper
Service Expert at South Carolina Pest Pros
I started in pest control in the Columbia area, learning to spot termite activity in crawl spaces and account for the moisture and seasonal heat that affect homes across South Carolina. I built this company to give local property owners clear inspections and treatment plans, with work performed under the state’s pest-control licensing requirements.
